Huntington Library Education and Visitor Center

Project Description

 This project consisted of an addition to the Huntington Library, the Steven S. Koblik Education and Visitor Center, which is 110,000 square-feet of education facilities, education amenities, and basement storage.  The HVAC systems and plumbing were designed with sustainability in mind.  PPC installed chilled water, heating hot water and refrigerant piping required for the HVAC equipment.  PPC installed duct work, supply and return water and exhaust systems.  The HVAC equipment included air handler units, fan coil units, general and kitchen exhaust and supply for boilers, pumps, expansion tanks and chemical pot feeders.  The control system was installed to match the campus standard.
